About This Course

Take your web development skills to the next level by learning about JavaScript and Bootstrap. These are two essential aspects of web development.

This is a great next step from our introduction to web development (WD100) course, or if you have learned about HTML and CSS from somewhere else. If not please check out that course first.

Requirements

Windows or Mac computer

An internet connection capable of making small (in the MBs) downloads

A desire to learn, and explore the world of programming!

Frequently Asked Questions

What web browser should I use?

The Open edX platform works best with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari.

See our list of supported browsers for the most up-to-date information.

How difficult is this course?

This course is more difficult than our previous web development course, and will involve more troubleshooting on your own. I would consider this to be an intermediate course meant for people who are already comfortable with HTML and CSS. You may struggle with some of the reading, and technical details if you are under the age of 12.
